My Role

As the designer and developer for this project, I:

  • Collaborated with the client to understand the farm’s brand and aesthetic goals.

  • Designed and built the site to reflect the rustic charm and artisanal focus of Moon Rock Farm.

  • Created visually rich pages and content showcasing the animals and products.

  • Developed a photo gallery and product-focused sections to engage visitors.

  • Ensured mobile responsiveness and optimized performance for all devices.

Challenges & Solutions

  • Challenge: The client needed a way to highlight both the animals and handmade products without cluttering the site.

    • Solution: I designed separate sections: one for showcasing the sheep and farm life with a photo gallery, and another to feature the handwoven goods and natural dye process.

  • Challenge: Capturing the essence of the farm’s rustic and natural aesthetic online.

    • Solution: Used a palette of earthy colors, clean fonts, and large photos to convey a warm, organic feel.
