I'm the founder and designer behind Code & Craftworks. I grew up in rural Western New York, surrounded by small businesses, so I know how much work goes into building something of your own, and how much rides on every customer.

My background is in museum studies and cybersecurity. Yes, it's an unusual mix! But both shape how I work.

In museum studies, I learned to plan every exhibit around how people move through a space: what they notice first, where they get stuck, and what makes them stay. I plan websites the same way, around the path your customers take to book, buy, or sign up.

My years in cybersecurity mean safe setup is part of every build. Secure logins, the right access for the right people, and nothing left open that shouldn't be.

Fast forward to today. I help small businesses untangle the online side of things: Squarespace websites that take bookings and payments, Google profiles that help people find you, and content plans to reach your customers. Some clients want to learn to manage it themselves, and some would rather hand it off. Either way works.

When I'm not building websites, you'll find me in the garden, elbow-deep in a craft project, or reading "just one more chapter" long past bedtime.

How I work

You own everything. Your domain, site, and accounts are in your name from day one.

Tech, translated. Some technical terms can't be avoided, but I'll always explain what they mean and why they matter for your business.

I don't disappear. After launch, I'm a message away.

Let’s talk!

Whether you're a farm, a studio, a shop, or a community group, I'd love to hear what's on your list.
